In this video,
βοΈ Class: 10th
βοΈ Subject: Physics
βοΈ Chapter: Light: Reflection And Refraction (Chapter 10)
βοΈ Topic Name: Image Formation by a Convex Mirror - Light: Reflection And Refraction | Class 10 Physics Chapter 10
βοΈ Topics Covered In This Video (by Vibhuti Ma'am): This YouTube video explains the physics concept of light reflection and refraction, focusing on the process of image formation by a convex mirror. It is aimed at students in Class 10 studying physics. Vibhuti Mam will lead the lesson, discussing the nature of a convex mirror and the uses of these types of mirrors in everyday life. She will also provide visual demonstrations to help explain the concept and provide step-by-step guidance for image formation. A few important points discussed in the video are how parallel rays of light are refracted when entering a convex mirror, the use of the principal axis and focal point, and the properties of the image formed. With this video, you can learn more about light and its properties and be assured of a deeper understanding of this important physics concept.

Points covered in this video:-
Rules for Tracing Images from by Convex Mirrors -
Rule 1: A ray of light falling on the mirror in a direction parallel axis of a convex mirror, appears to be coming from its focus, on reflection from the mirror.
Rule 2: A ray of light falling on a convex mirror on passing through focus of the mirror, becomes parallel to the principal axis of the mirror, on reflection.
Rule 3: A ray of light falling on a convex mirror on passing through centre of curvature of the mirror is reflected back along the same path i.e. such a ray retraces its path on reflection.
Rule 4: A ray of light incident obliquely towards the pole P of a convex mirror is reflected obliquely such that the incident and reflected rays make equal angles with the principal axis.
Image formation by a Convex Mirror -
Case 1: When the object is at infinity.
Case 2: When the object is at finite distance from the mirror.
